Francisco's other photoFrancisco is Founding Partner of Executive Development Interactive (EDI) a consulting company working on Business Transformation, Executive Education, Change Management Skills and Process Improvement. He has conducted projects in General Electric, Mercedes Benz, Raytheon, Citi, General Mills and Goldman Sachs, among others. His clients also include a broad spectrum of public and supranational organizations around the world.

EDI recent projects include the design, development and delivery of the New Business Leader (NBL) Program for Ford Motor Company, covering 2000 executives around the world in 16 months. The unique design included high potential executives as Leader-Teachers in partnership with one of six EDI senior consultants. The Program was Action-Learning based and was featured in Fast Company in April 2000 as a Corporate Best Practice in training and development (http://fastcompany.com/online/33/ford.html).

EDI has also designed, developed and delivers the building blocks of General Mills’ corporate curriculum, the New Manager Development Program and the Experience Manager Development Program. EDI also created a Strategic Workshop for all plant operations managers of General Mills. Francisco adapted and implemented GE’s Work-Out, the organizational transformation initiative (documented in magazines like Business Week and Fortune) for their operations in Latin America and Spain. He also transferred this process successfully to FIAT and Mercedes-Benz operations in Brazil. EDI also designed and delivers a Systems Thinking component of the Advanced Manager Course around the world. Francisco Executive Coaching Experience Include assignments in GE, JP Morgan, Johnson and Johnson and Walters Klower.

One of the EDI’s organizational interventions is the “Leadership of Change Process”, a series of workshops addressing the key executives of EDI’s clients around the world. Results include: a 360 feedback document assessing participants’ ability to introduce profound change successfully in the organization and a blueprint for a change agenda, indicating the specific areas of concentration to increase global competitiveness. Users of this process include: Hilton International, Xerox Corp., Black & Decker Corp., Pfizer, CPC, AVIANCA, Mercedes-Benz Brazil, Banco Do Nordeste Brazil and The Central Mortgage Bank in Colombia.

His corporate experience includes GE at Crotonville Leadership Development Center, as Global Leader of Educational Projects; Xerox in the United States and Latin America; Exxon; and the Peace Corps in his country of origin, Colombia.

In Asia, EDI has developed and implemented a program for senior leaders of Ping An, a diversified Financial Services and Insurance leader in China; EDI also designs and delivers executive programs for Huawei in China and Johnson & Johnson in the region.

Based in Stamford, CT, USA, Francisco has undertaken assignments in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America working in English, Spanish and Portuguese. His education includes a B.A. in Business Administration from El Rosario University in Bogotá; an MBA from Pace University in New York and graduate studies in Clinical Psychology at the University of Bridgeport.
